Student Work Experience Opportunities in Blacksmithing

The life of a female blacksmith in the Yorkshire Dales
Regular visitors to Malham will recognise Tilly, the Smithy dog. Usually found raiding picnics and pub tables for the odd titbits of food, or flat out on the cobbles in front of the forge.
Don’t let the sad eye’s fool you, it’s her ploy to get extra cuddles….. or sausages!
Annabelle Bradley’s signature hand forged Rams Heads feature on many items at the Malham Smithy. From fireside tools, curtain pole finials and bottle openers, or even just a decorative rams head paperweight.
The familiar ring of the anvil echoes through the village as the Blacksmith works on the forge.
